While having the lovely honor of serving as a bridesmaid in this sweet couple's wedding, I had a front row seat to recording such wonderful memories on film, along with the help of my talented hubby and assistant photog. He did such a great job of snapping photos of the wedding while I was standing on stage. Who knew he had such the photographer's eye!?

This last picture is of the surprise wedding proposal that happened when the bride tossed her bouquet to a groomsman's girlfriend. She was totally surprised and speechless...it was such a special moment to be a part of!

The hubby and I joined the rest of the Prater clan after Thanksgiving in Decatur, AL, to celebrate his grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary and to exchange Christmas gifts with everyone else while we were all together. I had a great time with Jennie out on the town square not too long ago. She and I are kindred spirits, sharing not only some mutual friends but a love for photography as well.
